In what order do you eat your food?

For example, if I have a plate full of different foods, I generally eat the stuff that I like the least first, and eat the stuff that I like the most last.

I eat a little of this, a little of that. I try and finish it all at the same time. Wierd, huh?

I try a little bit of everything first. You have to try everything by itself, and then in combination with other items. Then, when the selection starts to run out, I think of the last flavour/temperature/texture I want in my mouth at the end of the plate. I then progress my way slowly toward that culmination.
I know it's against my upbringing, but I'll happily leave food on the plate if it doesn't fit into the way I want to eat things. One flavour cannot overpower another flavour. That's just sacrilege.
And you have to think about whether you're having dessert or an aperitif after; or nothing at all. That can change everything!

(Though one time on a date, I ate things by colour group ... just cos I was bored)

I will sample everything first that is on the plate. I try to eat what I don't really like, or what tastes "ok" first, and then eat the good stuff after that so that I have a good aftertaste in my mouth rather than something not enjoyable. If I really don't like it at all, I will simply not eat it or throw it away. I've always been told if it's set in front of you, you have to at least try it. So I will. I will try it, and if I don't like it, I don't eat it.

I don't really choose what I eat first. But if I have a plate with a few different things on it, I will eat all of one thing before moving onto the next.

I do the same thing. I also like to pick apart the parts of my food and eat them separately, but not with all of that.

If I like everything on my plate, then I'll just start eating whatever it is that's availible, then another bite of something else, so on. Needless to say, I take a long time to eat.

Same. I used to eat all my peas before i ate my mashed potatoes. I still have to eat the fries before the burger if I get a combo. Now that I'm all grown up though, I don't really have to worry about people putting stuff on my plate that I don't like.

Some Greek, some Scandinavian, some Middle Eastern, French on occasion and lots of Chinese and Japanese food. No to eggs, red meat and poultry. No salt and little caffeine. I believe in eating some fat, though, and the body needs protein. Protein doesn't mean a 10 oz. steak, but nuts, tofu, a little fish and sushi, cheese pizza, whole grains, beans, etc. I like pitas with cheese and tomato, oatmeal, mashed potatoes, fried potatoes, rice, noodles, sauteed fish in blackbean sauce, sushi, cooked veggies, salad, soup, bread and lots of fruit and all dairy except I like soft serve ice cream from DQ instead of the hard stuff out of a box.

I make sure that I clean the dish very well regardless of the way of eating because there is no way. I like all type of food.

I kind of mix the bites up so I don't have to eat what I like the least in small bites and can still have what I like too.
