I am thinking of applying for a GlobalXchange debit card but have heard that there are numerous problems with using it such as high maintenance fees, difficulty in withdrawing the money. Are there anyone who has the debit card and can tell me about your experiences using the card? It would be preferable if you are from one the Southeast Asian countries.

They now have the PayPal Plus card... it's a debit card... and PayPal... is PayPal!
Almost 50% of the online retailers uses PayPal!!! :)

Most prepaid debit cards are more trouble than they are worth. Essentially you will be paying $1 in service fees for every $1 you spend with the card. Of course they do not say that specifically in your agreement but with all of the fees and hidden costs and charges associated with it, it comes out to be about that amount of money.
