Like astral projection or very lucid dreams that seemed out of body?

How did you feel after it was over? Did you feel like you were buzzing, not high, but vibrating? Did your head ache? Brightlights?

Yes. Extremely vivid out-of-body projections at various times of my life. Wonderful lucid dreams when I practice keeping a dream journal.

Those who never had a projection unfailingly attribute it to some kind of dream or internal mental delusion. Anyone who has projected knows that it is as real as anything you can possibly imagine.

My first started unintentionally by falling through a dark, tunnel-like vortex--powerful roaring sound. I had no understanding then and my shock and fear was unbearable. I wanted to close my eyes and fade into death and tried to do so. The tumult quickly subsided and I found myself floating at the ceiling looking down at my body, quite sure that I had died somehow but not caring. I wondered where the rest of my family was and I immediately floated toward a wall, then right through it, feeling it as I passed through and into the dimly lit hallway on the other side of it.

I was once meditating and I had this thought...I wonder what albuquerque is like? I was moving there you see. About a half hour into my meditation I heard this loud bang in my head. The bang didn't actually make a sound. I know this sounds wierd but next thing I know I'm in white shorts, sneakers, sweatbands and I'm running down Louisiana street. I know it was Louisiana street cause I saw it again when I moved there. I wasn't thinking, just running. I was there for a couple of minutes when I had a thought. Why am I here? I'm at home meditating. Then bang. That soundless boom again and I was back at home. I never tell that story to anyone cause it sounds crazy. I figure I'm kinda anonymous here so what the hell? I never had it happen to me again and I'm not sure why.

I've always asked myself it that was just a dream, but I think it wasn't, 'cause I remember events after and before of that...
Once upon a time, I was walking on the grass in a normal day of camping in the forest, in Mexico. Suddenly I found a hole from about 30 to 45 meters deep, with another garden below the first one I was in, full of trees, (more than there in mine) and the sun was shinning so bright in there... instead in my place it was cloudy and cold. I just start desiring to change my place for that, when my father called me and I never could find the place again, even my father came with me to see it, 'cause I mention the episode to him... What was it? I really don't know. But I've never forget it

The being was present, the body awareness was lost, the voice of guided meditation quite audible, and when the mediation was over, found myself in squatting position without back support.
This is one of the experiences that can be told to explain how it can be !

I had one point where it felt like I was above my body, but not entirely out of it. It felt like my feet were up by my shoulders and my perspective was a bit weird. But I wasn't able to look down and see myself standing there or float around. Not sure if that counts as an out of body experience though....
