I would feel bad about it. And it seems highly unlikely, given that Christians know that faith in Jesus cannot be faked--nor is there any point to acting Christian if you don't believe that Christ is the savior of the world.

Because you can't force anybody to accept Christ as their savior. You may be able to force them to say they do, but that doesn't change a heart opposed to accepting his gift.

Christianity isn't a noun. It's a verb. What I mean by this is it's not a "thing" that you are. It is something you do. Having an identity as a Christian means little. What means everything is walking with Christ.

A Christian and Humble

Why? Because He died for me.
and as for being proud....

Pro 16:18 Pride [goeth] before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.
Pro 16:19 Better [it is to be] of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.

No one can force another person into being a Christian. Being a Christian is a personal choice. Something between God and each individual person.
Making someone go to church or read the bible won't make them a Christian. And of course, being an American, I would be horrified to have any kind of dictator forcing his religious believes on this country.

Well, I am a Christian, it wouldn't be a good thing if people are made to be a Christian. Actually, its not even possible. A Christian is someone who is a follower of Jesus Christ, not just someone who decides to say I'm a Christian. So since being a Christian is a whole hearted conscious decision only the individual can make and only christ can give, it wouldn't work.

That would never happen because it goes against the Christian faith. Christianity has gone a long way and is wise enough knowing not to do that. I honestly do not know of any Tyranny and nation that imposes Christianity as being the law of the land, Although I’m sure that there are a lot of nations that imposes islamic law, wherein if you go to a different church they place your *** in a cell

The question is the same if a Muslim dictator took over, a Wiccan dictator, an atheist dictator, an agnostic dictator etc....... the POINT IS if any dictator is forcing people to believe or do something, removing their freedom of choice or thought, then it is wrong and unjust. Therefore, we would have a duty to overthrow a dictator like that. Furthermore, what about democracy??

I am a Christian and I would take objection with this. Christianity must be a free choice not a forced one or it has no meaning. This would be horribly wrong. I as a Christian would be no more if not less for it than non Christians.

Being Jewish, I would think it would be a very sad day in American history. Since I will never turn to another god, I guess I would have to leave my county. Either that let the dictator kill me because I refuse to convert.

Hate to break it too you but in a way It will.Although he's not a dictator ,Jesus will reign over the earth for 1000 years after the tribulation. You might as well avoid the delay and receive Jesus as your Savior now .

Hey, please ignore all the people who said "It'll never happen". They obviously haven't studied ANY European history.
Throught history, there have been many times in European countries where a king/leader FORCED all the people to become Christian, or if they aren't, they don't get too many privileges.
