No. Where a pimp takes the ten percent for himself, Jesus wants you you to show others the way to go. With a pimp a hooker does not have a choice, with Jesus he gives us free choice.

That's hilarious! But actually, the tithe is supposed to go to the needy church members, not to JC himself. Maybe you could get one of THEM to be your pimp, but I think that a real pimp would only give YOU the TEN percent.

I believe that we should give 10% to God. That doesn't mean it has to be given to a preacher or a church in my mind. It can be given to a charity, hospital, or just to a friend or neighbor who is in need without expecting to be paid back. Too many churches just build up their bank accounts to pay the preacher a bigger salary or build a bigger church. I don't think that's what God had in mind when he asked that we give to him. So if you're a hooker with a heart of gold, God will except your offering too.

Nope. A pimp sells and or arranges for a transaction.
Jesus doesn't demand 10% and he doest arrange any acts or transactions. In giving 10% it is to be done voluntarily so your pastor can drive his hummer H3.

Jesus does not demand any part of your wages (earthly money).It is the Church you are going to that wants you to give them the money to run their church.
Jesus only wants you to believe in him.
