i get that with rosé,i don't know what it is but it usually last all day with me and its in my right leg. i hope you get some good answers so that could help me too.

You should be awake by 2pm anyway. When I drink red wine, it stains the back of my teeth and so it's off limits as far as my dentist is concerned. You might want to go to the DR's because it might be a pinched nerve and or sciatica. I have the latter two but it's constant pain, not just when I eat drink a specific food.

I sure hope that you meant 2:00 am because if you didn't then you're a lush, lol. If you think that it's the red wine then maybe you should stop drinking it. Then you would be able to see if it's really the red wine or not.

i never heard of this condition before.If you know its the red wine thats giving the pain in the left leg stop drinking it.If you still have the pain in your left leg not drinking red wine please get the left pain leg checked by the family doctor.Good advice is better then no advice.Good luck Sweety

Possibly this is because alcohol can dehydrate your body and promote muscle cramps. Also, all wine (and especially inexpensive wine) has small quantities of impurities to which your body may have an aversion or allergy.

i think if you are passed out drunk at 2 in the afternoon maybe you should take a long look at your drinking habits.

what's your age? The timing probly has little to do with it, but it sounds as though you may have a touch of the gout! See your doctor and he/ she will tell you in short order. many things including alcohol bring on inflaming gout...very painful during sleep! sorry... :(

Why would you be drinking in the daytime? I'm gonna guess these are God's way of telling you to put the glass/bottle down and back away slowly...............When you wake up at 2pm in the afternoon......go to an AA meeting.
