I don't know why somebody would suggest you learn another martial art when you are much more specific than most people that post a question here...
I am near Corona myself, and if I knew of some place even in OC where I could train in southern praying mantis, I would go! The closest place I know of would be in Ventura, and taught by Sifu Manuel Rodriguez. His school is called Red Dragon, but don't confuse it with the chain of schools in our area; they have no affiliation with one another.
He is a fantastic teacher, and also does Tai Chi Chuan (as most respectable sifus do!). In fact, if you have ever seen "Avatar", the character Toph, the master Earth Bender ,is modeled after him! That show actually consults martial artists, like Sifu Kisu as well.
If you are willing to make the drive, I strongly suggest it. If you find a place closer, let me know too!

try a couple of the search engines there may be a website for a school, or you can find a school in your local phone book

no...but you should learn another form of kungfu...i feel that you should learn wingchun instead..it would be useful to you even when you are 60 years old...
