Well, as a shy guy i wouldn't mind if someone straight out told me, that would be the best way. But you could have a friend tell him, or just be really friendly i guess. I really like it when the girl i likes talks to me. She has beautiful eyes so i love being able to look into them in a decent conversation, try that.

well im black and a lesbian but i don't date black girls. its a preference and i grew up in a white neighborhood and city. there is nothing wrong with not being attracted to black guys. im with you on how they act. they are very aggressive and cannot take the hint. everyday im getting hit on by black guys. its very annoying. i have even had a couple of stalkers. i say you may have to act like a ***** in order for them to take you seriously. i try to be nice and they wont leave me alone. it doesn't make you racist for having a preference. i was being criticized for being black and not dating within my race. i would get other black people saying that im racist against my own. its not even that im just not attracted to my own. anyway just be a bit catty and bitchy and see what happens.

ask him out, of course minus your other friends. spend time together, then ask him again, and ask him again, and then take it from there. he may be shy but he surely is not numb, he should get the message of the frequent invitations and you should be able to tell if he's interested in you too other than just being your friend if he entertains the idea you two getting together more often than you used to. good luck.

If you want him to know with the chance of developing further you gotta put it on the line and tell him. If not then it will never go past the friendship phase.

Sounds to me like you aren't sure of your own feelings for him. Stay friends until you are absolutely sure that you want to be something more. When you hit that point, act on it. I hate hearing the excuse, "we became friends and then it was to late to get involved" - that's a lame cop-out. Usually people who are friends first are the ones who develop deep feelings for eachother. Just make sure those feelings are really there.

can't be done. He may want to take the friendship to another level also. Life is short, don't waste time. You really like the results.

it's really hard for a girl to say to a guy that she likes him. you could start by being extra sweet to him. extra thoughtful also. but don't overdo it. hold back a bit so he doesn't think that you are desperate for him. even if you are giving him hints, let him be the one to come to you.

You should be with him in romantic places, and to dress provocative. Sit very close to him, and remember boy always think about sex, it will come.
