try spbot search an destroy or Lavasoft Ad-aware SE theyr both good also if u want a free antivirus app as well u cn try AVG or McAfee stinger finally theres Zone Alarm which is a free firewall program, way better than the one thats built in to windows (u cn get them all for free at download.com, except mayb Mcaffee stinger wich is also free but i think u hav 2 get it off of Mcaffee's website)

Being an IT employee, www.limetribe.com , get Anti-Vir, http://www.free-av.com/ , a great Anti virus/spyware program that I use with clients all the time. I you are running windows, windows defender should be on your PC and it is good. DO NOT get Norton Antivirus. It takes over your machine like Apple software. Terrible program.
