When I first read someone's blog about this, I was confused because it seemed like a hoax, but I kept hunting and reading and I found it.
Please tell me if it's a hoax, but I don't think it is. She needs national attention, and help from some animal lovers and animal lover groups. If I knew how to help her I would. All I know to do is pass it on and hope the right person sees this to help her, if it's not a hoax.

HOW SICK IS THIS? (SHE goes to help a dog because no one helped him in 3 days, he lay there dying. So, she goes in with a camera and gets this dog out of there to a vet and gets arrested! INSTEAD OF THE ANIMAL ABUSERS!)
What is going on in this world? I didn't know how to help her, so I wanted to ask all of you what do you think?
Maybe if enough people respond, they will drop charges on her and arrest the criminals? Who knows in this world anymore?

Well as much as I am against animal cruelty this video really pisses me off. The so called "rescuers" stand around video taping a dying dog for almost two minutes. Yes. People do need to see this sort of thing. BUT, how could anyone who isn't trying to "play" the hero hold a camera for that long watching the poor beast flail around scarred, dying, and surrounded by strangers. As if the treatment this dog got from it's owner wasn't enough cruelty, lying there being videotaped like that sure added to it. I'm glad they got the dog out of the situation but I think the video was made more for the benefit of the rescuers then that of the dog.

Unfortunetly, this probably is a very true story. Some people just don't get that pets, like dogs, aren't just toys for us to dump when we're tired of them. Fortunetly, with enough responses and people willing to take the front lines against cruelty, these sort of events can be reduced.
I don't agree with a lot of humane organizations on various points, but this is utterly ridiculous. I hope the officer gets bit by the dog he claims he'd shoot Grimes for approaching.

I watched that with tears in my eyes,i am absolutely stunned.I have come across a lot of animal videos on the net showing cruelty and neglect,i would so much love to see the fear in the abusers eyes that i have seen in those poor poor animals,it is absolutely heartbreaking:(

Wow that is terriable! If I where her I'd get charges laid against the humane officer! He should have done his job! I had my neigbords dogs seized when they where left out in the heat with no food or shelter, the animal contorl officer was there within hour of me calling!!!

When I see and hear stores like that it really pisses me off.
I grew up in PA. and know wear north Franklin is.
PA has some of the most f-ed up animal laws on the books.
I'm sorry that i can't help with a donation.
But thank god you were their. to help that poor dog.

Yes that is awful, but what i coudnt understand is firstly the dog was so weak and too ill to lift his head and then in the other vid, he's running around like any other dog?
