"This reminds me of what I read about Nazi Germany, the Gestapo coming in and yanking people up"
"When his momma brought this baby here and left him, tears rolled down her face and mine too," Rodas said. "She said, `Julie, will you please take care of my son because I have no money, no way of paying rent?"'
Is this what you want? Hunting down people just because they want to live a better life and the laws to allow them to come legally , so they are forced to sneak in?!? Your ancestors gotr a free pass, now we are being persecuted!

The US laws don't allow people form many countries to even APPLY for a Green Card. How do you expect Mexicans(for example!) to come legally if they don't have any family in the US?Of course they'll sneak in-would you work for $200 a month?Seriously. It's too easy to judge when you got a FREE PASS! You didn't have to work for your citizenship, you deserve it LESS than any so called "illegal".

I agree with you fully. These people and all other people should have the right to come here and work.Americans are no better than any one else.Americans are made up from all different countries. That is what made this country.I say it time to do away with immigrant ion and it laws.Laws are supposed to help and protect people but these laws don't do neither.
For the ones of you thinking this will stop terrorist.Stop and think how many Americans fall into that category. The other thing is terrorist also have funding and ways to get here either way. While the people that are wanting to come here for a better life don't have the means.
Another thing is God said what you do to the lest of mine i will also do to you 7 times worst.

What the hell do you mean we don't deserve our own citizenship. Now I know you have lost all control of your mouth(typing). My ancestors came to this country in 1702,before it was the US.They worked from sun up to sun down to carve a life out in a hostile country. They gave this country their all ,the worked and lived and died from the elements and disease. But the family persevered and made a life for us to follow. They were hard working people that never shirked ,never ran from hard work ,or
committed crimes to obtain their way of life. And that hard work ethic was passed down thru generation after generation.I own a business that requires me to get up at 4am and because I do have employees,I can rest and do paper work on the computer when ever I want ,but I am rarely finished with work until around 11pm.That's what it takes today in America to run a successful small business.I do not hire any one that is illegal.I want quality work done by people that have the same values as I do.I do have legal employees from Mexico that have worked for me for more than 15 years. You don't have any idea about real Americans of how we work or feel. Your questions don't hold any merit to me.Ive seen other posts of yours and you hate black people.so you are a racist and so you are not any person that has a viable opinion on anything at least not to me.
No amnesty do not hire illegals
Deportation not legalization for illegal immigrant criminals.
For anyone in doubt of the danger to America from the illegals watch this video it a must see.

This is from the link you gave bunt, thanks
Last month, the federal government reported that Georgia had the fastest-growing illegal immigrant population in the country. The number more than doubled from an estimated 220,000 in 2000 to 470,000 last year. This year, state lawmakers passed some of the nation's toughest measures targeting illegal immigrants, and Republican Gov. Sonny Perdue last week vowed a statewide crackdown on document fraud.

The USA is going to be just fine once we are rid of all of the illegal immigrants! And, from the sounds of things, that snowball is starting real fast now! Deportations are picking up, states and cities are taking it upon themselves to enact their own laws to pick up the slack from the Federal government not doing their jobs properly, employers of illegals are being hit, people who are caught using fraudulent/fake SSNs and other IDs are being charged and deported, and the good news just keeps on rolling in faster and faster every day! As things are moving right along, I expect "visa overstayers" to soon be targeted - including YOU!
I read that article you were quoting from - didn't bring a tear to my eye. That woman who left her baby with the caregiver should have taken her baby with her when she was deported. What kind of a mother chooses to leave her baby with others like that? Her baby should be picked up by Child Welfare and placed in a home for adoption. The mother obviously doesn't have normal maternal instincts enough to care properly for it. That mother has no one to blame but herself in this situation - she knew when she came here illegally and then proceeded to have a child, that there was always the chance and likelihood that she would eventually be caught and deported. Her story does not tug at my heartstrings and neither do any of the other stories like that! They try to make out that the INS are big bad bullies - hey, they are just finally doing their jobs properly!! What they are PAID to do by the TAXPAYING legal citizens of the USA! So, you go cry me a river somewhere else!! These illegal immigrants know the chances they take when they come here illegally, so why then do they always act so surprised when they get caught?? Geeze!

How is it a better life. 1. they already commited a crime coming here illegally. 2. The only jobs they find from what I hear are only a few dollars an hour. The are always scared they are going to get caught. Wow what a great opportunity that is. Anyway what do our ancestors have to do with any of this that was eons ago. The times were different and the people were different then.

Let's box up our country, and Fed-Ex it to Mars. And, put a 7-11 on the moon, and maybe a Wynn-Dixie truck stop. The neighbors wanna ***** cry and complain and demand and all that other good stuff? Fine. let em. Meanwhile, us 'martian-americans' can have a nice cold refreshing beer, and have a good laugh while watching all the 'fun' on satellite TV. There'll be a little delay, because it's a long way from earth to mars, but it'd be one of those 'candid camera' moments when they all come rushing to the United States, only to find the place empty...all the roads gone, no electricity, not a soul to be seen, no cars...no grocery stores, and certainly no welfare checks! And, you can forget illegal immigration, 6 months of space travel time just to GET to mars, no swimming the Rio Grande on that'n!
Don't you just wish that other countries would invest more of their energies in fixing their own problems instead of finding new ways to leech off america? Ah, if only...

The first part is a tearjerker to get people all emotional. Then you look for someone to blame. Me perhaps? Did it ever occur to you this happens to Americans, too?
... the laws to allow them to come legally , so they are forced to sneak in?!? --your words, not mine. I cut and pasted that. Which is it? Because yes, the law lets you/them in, regardless of how much our people are suffering because of our rich, corrupt politicians.
Your ancestors gotr a free pass, now we are being persecuted!--no one got a free pass and I've never seen a Mexican or other immigrant persecuted. Either they were treated the same or better than everyone else. And they've done plenty of lawbreaking and harrassment.
So don't give me this is Nazi Germany bullshit.

Breaking the law is breaking the law. What part of that is so hard to understand??? If they don't want to be snatched up, then they need to stay in their native land and make sure if they set foot in this country, it is done so legally.
And comparing Nazi Germany to the current illegal immigration situation cheapens the Jewish plight during that time. They already lived in that country - they were citizens. And they were persecuted and murdered BECAUSE OF THEIR RELIGION. No one is throwing illegal immigrants into boxcars and driving them off to camps to die. How dare you even think of comparing the two.
Illegal immigrants are the criminals - they don't want the punishment, then they shouldn't have done the crime.

Pretty soon we will have the Hitler youth camps, indoctrinating our youth about the evils of undocumented workers! Is our country ripe for a dictator? Thats what happened with Germany, many were already racists and when Hitler came into the picture, it was a natural progression to facism. Good people said and did nothing, are we headed in this direction?

When I bust my buns getting to Mexico to buy some illegal drugs so I can sell them and pay my rent, and I get caught, I think the Mexican police should let me off too.
It's not my fault, all the good manufacturing jobs have all but left the country and all I want is a better life.
After all Mexican dealers make money off me and I am risking my but crossing the canyons.

Imagine if we used all the money we're spending on walling eveyrone else out on making Mexico a better place to live, thereby getting rid of the reason for people to come this way.
Immigration is a complicated issue, I con't compete with someone who;s willing to work for less than minimum wage, I have to market myself as high-end, and its no fun.
That said, thats the way it goes. My partner is british. He has to stand in the same lines at the INS as everyone else. The system is broken, After seeing all the ridiculous hoops and red tape people have to jump through to OBEY THE LAW, I can't believe anyone's here legally.
