Both deal with the spirit of God one way or another ...with one ..it deals with the anointing of the spirit..the other provides sight which has other meanings also ...but if you read in Revelations 2:5..he says he would remove the candlestick..which is the ability to see..the difference between those serving God and those not...discernment..without sight you cannot see..neither can you see right from wrong...

It can refer to the indwelling spirit of the Holy Ghost and the many levels of the filling of the spirit...so several flames ..in the candlestick..which was not just 1 flame but about 7...for this you must pray and ask of the Lord...for wisdom...and he will give you liberally..God bless

The lamp stand is the spirit of God, or your temple is lit when it receives the spirit of God.(to be born again) its were your spirit is rooted and lit in heaven before the throne! The tree symbolic of gods house and the church. He is the root and spreads out the branches and causes it to bear fruit, just like the church or his chosen elect. They are also referred to as the fig tree.
