There should be no problems to the eyes.
Plasmas are around $1,500 USD on up depending upon size and brand and where you make your purchase.
Pick the screen size that measures (diagonally) between and ¼ and ½ times the viewing distance. For example, if you are going to be sitting 10 feet (i.e. 120 inches) away from the screen, then get a TV set that measures between 30 inches and 60 inches in diagonal length.
Also, I would recommend a direct-view LCD integrated HDTV screen over a plasma as a better value. Sony is my prefered choice as well. Compare with your own eyes in person for the most informed decision-making process.

Well a plasma tv is good for the eyes based on its inverse proptionality to the hole in your pocket.i.e the bigger the hole in your pocket the better it is for ur eyes. As to the size..that depends on what size you want your eyes to be (not to mention..your neighbours) at the end of the day...
Cost range: 70k and upwards.

It is OK for your eyes as long as they not get
too tired.
