Because Barbie was getting old and Bratz are like the new version of them. Bratz have other boys such as Cameron, Koby, Dylan and Eithan. They're just a little younger then Barbie. Thats all...

the bratz are just like the new barbies.the new barbies have hair clips that come with them and posters!!!thats really all the littile girls want!!! but the old barbies didn't have anything so that made you cherish them more so bratz really didn't take barbie place barbies are still the bomb!little girls just want the bratz because now they have coutor and new high fashion but bratz could never take barbies place!!! see old people buy barbies and littele girls buy bratz!!!

I hate bratz dolls. They are so trashy. especially the baby bratz dolls. If I ever have a daughter she will never play with one of those hooker look alike dolls.
