and I think we had a great time. We laughed alot, looked into each others eyes the whole time, she didn't look bored. At the end of the night she asked if I wanted to do something the next day, but when we hugged, she didn't try to kiss me.
So, does she like me or not? If she does like me in a sexual or non-platonic way, then why didn't she kiss me? Am I going into friend status. I made it pretty clear that I like her (not only as a friend) and that this was a date and she called it a date too.

Well, I dated for the better part of 18 years and most of the time, even if I felt a connection, I didn't kiss on a first date. In fact, it quite often didn't even happen on a second date either. If I still felt a connection and things were progressing, then the third date was a charm....a kiss or two or three, but nothing heavy, and no touchy feely, heheh. If a woman respects herself and isn't in some hurry, then she'll wait to see if it feels right enough to even have a possibility of going anywhere. I know it makes me sound like some fuddy duddy, but I assure you I'm not! :o)

Ok, Ok buddy........It was your first date right?? Some of us girls are not desperate.....She probably wanted to take things slow, not all girls kiss on their first date....besides if you wanted to kiss her badly you should of done it yourself....Guys are the ones that have to make the first move, and if she didn't do it, it was probably because she wanted you to do it, or maybe because she doesn't kiss on the first date, but doesn't mean she doesn't like you....she went out with you didn't she? That's a start, and if she asked to meet the next day, that's a plus!! Good Luck

Don't jump to conclusions just yet...she did ask to see you the next day. That's a good sign.

properly now days... its #a million and #2 solutions.. Relax. Kissing is pretty intimate and not everyone is comfortable with kissing right away. Just take it slowly and get to know her and let her get to know you. You will be amazed how much sweeter it is when you let it progress slowly and naturally.

she asked you, if you don't make at least a small move next date (a kiss) she's going to think you're gay. You're supposed to make the move - upshot she probably thinks you really respect her. She would avoid if she didn't like you, not meet you again.
