Sounds an interesting device, although not sure whether or not it would work but would the casinos allow it? Not in a million years - NO! Course not. They ban counters who do it themselves, never mind using a computer/device. They are a business and there to make money. As with all forms of gambling it IS possible to win - I've won big myself on a couple of occasions in the past but the laws of averages say on the whole you (the punter) will loose. After all, if they allowed everyone to use one and let's say for the sake of argument that these things work the way it's been described and is as good as they claim, how long before the casinos all go out of business then what use would they be? :)

However Mark Griffiths, Europe's only professor of gambling, said using computer devices would not constitute cheating."If someones got a piece of equipment that calculates where a ball will land, then that is akin to card counting in blackjack. It's not cheating - it's using science to give yourself a better advantage."

This is quote from the only professor of gambling?
The mans an idiot. The difference is that card counting is done in your head and is a skill, using a device to calculate for you is illegal because it's obviously not a skill! where do they find these people. I'm a casino manager and have been working in casinos around the world for 20 years.

Using any kind of manipulative device to alter game play is illegal and if caught, the offender will imediatly be detained questioned and arrested. If a player wins too many times at one game table, slot machine or any other game, that customer will be tracked by serveillance and tagged as "suspicious activity". a report is written up and that customer is put on a hot list. If said customer is slick enough to keep his secret hidden, he still will be asked to leave the casino. Todays casinos have the highest level of security in the world.

Hopefully any method of cheating will be banned when playing at either land based casinos or online casino. Like any other business casinos should be allowed to make a profit from their
business.

If there are those that have to cheat to win, well they are the crooks. Cheating is the same as stealing and those that are guilty should be dealt with and be convicted as the common criminals they are.

They will ban the device and the punter, as has happened in the past. There are Casino employees looking to see if anyone is cheating at all times.

what kind of electric gadget could possibly let you win every time?

it would have to be something that interefered with the casino equipment

the device mentioned above does not guarantee winning everytime but only claims to improve your odds by attempting to predict where the little ball will land

obviously, no casino would let somebody screw up their equipment and claim winnings

casino's in the U.S. don't even let people who count cards play for very long and they certainly don't let them use computers to help them count cards

the device mentioned in the story is intended to be used stealthily so the casino folk never catch on

i don't believe the gadget would help at all and the casino people would probably love to have you come to their shop and give them money as you test it

I believe that this device would not fly in America since they have strict cheating rules that have not yet been implemented in England.

The gadget described in the article will give the user an edge, but it has to be used with skill, and there has to be a bias in the wheel of a large enough amount for the machine to be much use.

They will ban it for sure.

And anyway, it can only work at a real casino. Online ones have much better odds already. In roulette they are nearly all single zero.

Punters rarely win as they are on the special teams unit, and not the offense.
