I use Lavasoft's Ad-aware SE Personal. It works great for me and is guaranteed to get rid of any harmful spyware, adware, and viruses. Norton (to me) slows down the computer and never actually finds anything significant, and yet I still have viruses. I do a full system scan on Ad-Aware and my computer runs beautifully. Give it a try.
