I personally believe that this is an idividual choice. Every woman is different and while one woman may thrive on being "put on a pedestal" that could really irritate or annoy another woman. Some women would be totally offended by the thought of being treated as "weaker beings", but I know a woman who really relishes being thought of this way and will actually go out of her way to appear as a "weak" little woman in front of men. So, you know what they say, it takes all kinds. And I think the best way to treat any woman, man, or child is the way that makes them feel like the best person they can be. Whatever makes them comfortable in their own skin.

It would be nice to be treated equally,but I do not think the 50's are far enough away in men's eyes yet.It usually takes at least a century for things to really change,don't ya think.i do..
I bet i could stand on that pedastal longer than any man could..lol

Its quite confusing on what they want..first they want to be put on a pedestal..then they go to rally on streets for equal rights...
