We have been invited to a baby Christening. We are not Catholic and have never attended one before...please help! Thx.

yes, it is. a simple gift is okay. like a toy or clothes. if not give little money or gift card if easier.

I don't beleive that its absolutlely nessecary to take a gift, unless you are being godparents. Many people do mark the occaision with a special gift, such as bible or a cross and chain. A nice gift idea is to buy a charm bracelet, then each year you can add to it. It is a nice keepsake.

It's a nice gesture but not expected. Any baby gift will do - stuffed toys, baby books, etc - the gift doesn't have to be religious.

I always give a small savings bond. They also sell delicate handmade AND CHEAP beaded bracelets for girls. Check on EBay.

Depends on your budget. A card will do, but if you want you can give baby things.
