Don't use baking soda and lemon juice, they create a weak acid that WILL destroy the tooth enamel. Peroxide will NOT lighten your teeth either. The two things to try would be a whitening type toothpaste to remove surface stains, and the over the counter whitening strips. Also, get your teeth cleaned to make sure you don't have any problems with the enamel, if you are grinding your teeth at night you could be wearing away some of the enamel, which could make your teeth appear yellower as the enamel gets thinner and the underlying dentin (which is naturally yellow in color) is exposed.

The "rinse with a bit of Listerine and hydrogen peroxide" reply from Meforever is the best procedure and what periodontists use as well. Don't spend money in all the other whiteners because they do not work any better, unless you spend around $500 for a laser whitening (although I read somewhere that it may eat the enamel that covers your teeth).

If you want to "polish" your teeth, you can do it with a little sodium bicarbonate and a few lemon juice drops.

Soda, coffee and meds can also cause yellowing of your teeth. Some meds that your mother took while she was pregnant can cause your teeth to be discolored. I had my teeth professionally whitened by my dentist and later tried the Crest White strips. Though the medical one was far more expensive, it was not any more effective than the other one. Try the Crest white strips.

Mine too. Ever get a filling at a dentist? They have this little color comparison chart and it shows a whole bunch of different colors of teeth. The point is, not all teeth are white... in fact, hardly any at all. Just brush, floss, and don't worry about it.

Get your teeth whitened. There are many dentists who call it the "Lunch Hour" treatment. Meaning it can be done within an hour for about $150. But make certain the dentist is reliable and you've seen his work. Recommendations are always wise.

Try the Crest Whitestrips (or local store brand of the same type). They are really easy to use and fairly affordable. You will not notice a difference immediately, but by the end, you should. Good luck!
