Raising your metabolism is the easiest way - start with a little anaerobic exercise such as light weight lifiting, and then slowly increase your muscle strength. Muscles burn fat 24 hours a day - even when you are sleeping.
Whatever you do, change habits slowly and gradually and stick to the changes, Consistency is more important than quick results.

Have your thyroid checked. A sudden change in weight can mean that your thyroid is not functioning correctly. Are you on any meds? That can also cause weight gain. A full medical examination may answer your question. You should rule out anything medical and then go from there.

If you are eating healthy (within reason and be honest with yourself) and you exercise regularly, then either you are sleep walking and eating or you have an underactive thyroid most likely. Talk with you doctor regardless to check out your body, habits and so forth. They can help you keep you diet and body in check.
good luck!

Have you had your thyroid checked? If you have a slow working thyroid, it can result in weight gain.
