What are the alternatives of burning ISO files more than 1GB if you don't have a DVD-Burner?

For example, I have a Windows Vista RC1 ISO file with 2.6GB of file size but I don't have a DVD-Burner, yet I have a CD-Writer and a 40-GB Hard Disk.

I have seen an alternative such as mounting ISO file but I don't know how.

I have also seen another alternative such as splitting an large ISO file into more than 2 CD-ROM, but I also don't know how.

If you know atleast one of those alternative way, please tell me!

Thank you very much!

I think daemon tools will also mount an ISO. I use that for mounting my games.

There are 2 things you can do. First, as you already know, use a program to "mount" the ISO as a psuedo-disk drive. A product called Magic ISO can do this as well as make a CD image and extract files from an ISO file.Second, WINRAR (an archiving program like WINZIP) can open the ISO image file as an archive and allow you to extract files.

not achieveable ! you need to have a DVD burner, plus this is an OS setting up DVD you may not emulate it ! i assume you've the want to make a win7 deploy. i attempted it already and again to Vista, because : a million) this is not supported by employing maximum of drivers yet, so a number of my units would not artwork acceptable. 2) there are nonetheless a lot of insects in it - I had blue demonstrate with reboot even as having access to community storage through ftp, Kaspersky did not prefer to position in on win7 and different smaller insects. stay to inform the tale your truthfully OS till a minimum of the top of this three hundred and sixty 5 days in case you do not prefer to loose a even as. i did not see a lot distinction between Vista and Win7.
