Do you think "GOD" would say it's a sin for me to be smoking green goodness everyday since it grows on the face of the earth, which he said we may partake of anything we wanted but the tree of knowledge?

Just an innocent question.

Also, does the bible mention anything about marijuana at all?

And don't try to tell me that it would be a sin because it's harmful to your body because marijuana has been proven to work miracles such as enabling a person to walk again. That just won't fly.... It's too easy of an answer.

Too much of something is bad for you. Even if that thing is proven to be good for you.

...nope bible doesn't say anything about it.. Except, "God made every green herb for the use of man".. Tell you the truth, I think it should be legal, I'd rather people puff a little than drink, or anything else.. with the world the way it is.. if it helps some to relax, like a beer after work does.. who's to be harmed.. just regulate it like other things.. I think bribery keeps it so dead set illegal.. Yes, I'm a christian, and some would disagree with me.. but in Romans 14, speaking about meats and wine, the big debates of the day, prominant teacher Paul said.. have faith to thy self before God.. Actually if it aids quietness and reflection, it could be a very good thing for helping one to find God! Course if one never began it, one would never miss it..

I don't believe in the bible... but if you do, it says not to be a drunkard in front of your friends. I think that would include ol' mary jane. However, if you also take to heart what the bible says... God is the most heinous murderer in all of Earth's history... He killed the whole planet in a flood. (Later he conveniently says thou shall not kill) Satan is given a bad wrap for giving poor Job a boil or two. But if you read the bible, Satan helped us gain knowledge while God asks us to be dumb as sheep.

Odds are that 'mana' refers to psychodelic mushrooms. Mushroom symbolism is all over the OT and even in early Christian art.

Partake as you see fit.

i wondered that myself for a while... but i think if it's not for medical reasons, it's mind altering affects would be disliked by God, especially with long term usage.

what do you think God would say to YOUR use of marijuana?

your right, out of God's goodness he gave us all plants for OUR USE, (a blessing) but our ABUSE makes it a sin.

Hope this claifies this for you.

I don't care what you do and as long as it doesn't harm anyone but yourself then who cares if it is a sin.
