Don Stewart
http://www.donstewartassociation.com/
says that the green handkerchief he is giving away can cure anything by placing it on what you want to be healed. Your eyes hurt, put the green cloth on your eyes, and they're better. Put the Green cloth on your house, and you'll get a better one.
So...
if I get this green cloth, and I put it on a DVD set of Arrested Development, will Fox bring it back from being cancelled?

This is religious because Don Stewart says that the green cloth uses the power of Christ to help us.

The Green cloth is what Don Stewart is selling. He sells this to us with his blessing on it, and all our problems are solved.

you know, that just reeks of idolatry to me. reminds me of this piece of paper in the mail that had a picture of Jesus on it, and the letter said that if I placed the picture on my lap and prayed to it, then my money problems would go away and stuff like that. Geez, that just wrong ya know.

All I can say is, do not be swayed or influenced by what you see, hear or experience in the world.
Whatever it is, always go back to comparing it with the Bible.
If it isnt in there, then we better stick to what the Bible says.
1 John 4:1
Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
For we know, now are the end times and this is the time when satan is especially work hard to blind everyone, including and especially God's people.
Matthew 24:24
For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect—if that were possible.

I know nothing of Mr. Stewart or his ministry, but I do know a marketing ploy when I see one. So if you want to have your mail box explode with unending appeals for contributions, feel free.
While there really is scriptural basis my limited Geek says that this probably pertains solely to Paul. God's kind of funny that way. BTW, the color green is traditionally associated with healing and prosperity (think "the old religion") ...so while the green cloth most likley won't bring Arrested Development back (syndication notwithstanding), it could keep you DVDs from skipping.

Mr. Stewart, in my opinion, has abused the gift given to him by God. God gave him the ability to gain knowledge of his word and to spread the word, instead he markets it as a green cloth with power for SALE. IF this green cloth truly was a healing mechanism, which, in the right situation it could be, a man/woman following the word of God wouldn't have it up for sale. Jesus didn't charge a fee for healing, why should Mr. Stewart? He is not someone I respect.

Your question is irrelevant. But let's talk about Don Steward for a moment. I've never in my life heard him but I know about him.
Who really knows what's in Don Steward's heart except God. Steward's methods are whacky and I don't think God uses green cloths to heal. Don's zeal may have taken him over the edge.
A sincere person with a little success and lots of zeal and optimism can easily slip toward the lunacy end of the spectrum.
But it doesn't matter, God isn't going to ask you what you did with Don Steward's message, God is going to ask you what you did with Jesus Christ and his message.

I am a Christian and I believe it is people like Don Stewart that make it so difficult for the true Word of God to be heard. I believe that rather than letting God be the light on the hilltop that draws all men unto Him, He is actually blocking that same light so that not only will people not see it but will actually be turned from it. Please do not let this type of misguided Christianity be representative of what God wants in His children.

I tried it myself and I assure you it works. Put it on your billfold and it becomes full because God wants me to be rich. I put it on my mailbox and all my bills went away. I put it on my car and it has a new green paint job (I was hoping for red but I can live with green), I put it on my lap and .... you get the idea. See it really works.
Yes dear, I'm coming to bed in a minute, just after I finish working on the computer. By the way dear, I have this new green blanket.

In my opinion, and I believe the Bible backs me up on this, Don Stewart is very confused! No object in and of itself( other than the Cross) holds any real power. It is God who heals. Period! And He doesn't always choose to do so, it depends on what His will for that person is. I wasn't sure if your question was a serious one or not, but there ya go...Toodles! :)

The Apostle James wrote how to heal. This doesn't sound like it.
Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
