I'd bring the cost down by purchasing plane tickets on Priceline, staying in youth hostels, and preparing some of my own meals. A way to see Europe on a budget!
You could also give up your luggage space and travel as an air courier:

Ok....here's the deal. Go to Reno, Nevada for two weeks. If you are a male....gamble 24 hours a day or until you have enough money or its all gone.
If you are a female, shop your goods(its legal in that area) during the night, and gamble during the day. Remember to save some money from the night, incase you lose money during the day.
