Please help me! What does "Do mi je bit troj momak bia bi majs retniji covik" mean?

OK, so the correct sentence in Croatian would be: "Da mi je bit tvoj momak bia bi najsretniji covik".

I guess some guy from Dalmatia wrote a letter or a post-card to you.. :) How do I know?? This is the way the people talk specifically in Dalmatia (a part of Croatia by the sea, from the town Zadar all the way down to the very south-eastern border - Dubrovnik & sourroundings).

The correct translation is: "If I could be your boyfriend, I would be the happiest man." But be careful, guys from this area are very romantic, passionate, sincere and in love with life, but they all just love all the women out there..

Dalmatians are serbian speakers. Croatian is spoken only in Zagorje.
