My husband asked me to type this.
He would rather have a happy domestic wife than a crabby working wife. haha
We're totally non-material people. Though we are certainly not deprived in any way, we don't have the 'toys' a lot of people do, but, he makes enough for us to be comfortable, but not luxurious.
He says "to each their own" but he'd rather me not work, or work for myself if I want, which I do.

who the hell wants less dough. Whats more important a floor you can eat off or the money to afford some of the finer things in life. Get with the program this is the 21st century. Women are allowed out of the kitchen these days.

Judging from most men that I meet, I'd say they'd want both. A wife who can bring home the bacon and fry it for him to be served. Nothing tops a wife who's come home from work serving dinner in her heels and an apron!

i hate to destroy the illusion but even when women get a paying job most of the stuff needed to be done at home still gets left on her. so the real question should be "do you prefer a woman who works inside the home, outside the home, or both?"

I always left it up to my wife. She took long breaks between kids, anywhere from 2 to 3 years before working again. She certainly didn't have too, but she likes working part time and i don't blame her, our kids are all grown now and she still works part time. No biggy, up to her.
The guy below me is a bonehead who only has his own self interest at heart. He wants "TOYS", and is willing to take any future wife he has and make her work, to get his TOYS, he, ladies and gentleman, is................an idiot!
