"she was crying uncontrollably"-that would mean that you are not a sympathetic person. "I kissed her on the cheek last night and she liked it".........why are you asking us online if you already assume the answer that you want???????????

To answer your question in advancing the relationship, don't. Let her. If you know for sure that she doesn't want to be with a bf then just be her friend. Be honest to yourself and to her about how you feel. Let her "digest" what you have told her and give her time. Let her set the pace of the relationship, whatever it may be. Be true to yourself first. You may be reading signals that just are not there. Remember, she is coming out of a serious relationship and she may be on the rebound. You are giving her attention and affection that she needs. No one is going to turn that down. She may be confused in what she wants and needs, so go slow. You may be a temporary replacement until she finds what she wants and in the end your heart will be broken. Be selfish, think of yourself first and your feelings. If she can't be what you want her to be then just be her friend and find someone else you can commit to. It sounds like you want a serious relationship with someone and you picked her. Like I said, be honest with her and let her set the pace and if she is not interested in that kind of relationship then be her friend,if you can. There are other fish in the sea. Good Luck to you both.

you better act fast dude, cos if she sees you as too close a friend, it aint never gonna happen. just straight up ask her out on a date, so she knows you wnat more. oh, look for the warning signs that she might be sending that she only wants to be friends. like if she says, she doesnt wnat a boyfriend at the moment

If by hook up, you mean having sex...don't even think about wasting your time.
Women aren't into being convenient screws when the man wants some.
Find the woman you're going to spend you life with, and be happy!!!

tell her that your value the friendship very much and you've been thinking about taking it to the next level. Be honest and if she wants more she will tell you. If she doesn't advance on your offer than she just wants to be friends for now and maybe more later.

LTR's don't work, man. Be her friend, be there for her. If she's into you you'll know. An hour away may not seem that far, but you can't see her enough on a regular basis for it to work out.

I Love
I love to see you smile
And I love knowing that I caused that smile
I love to see you happy
And I love knowing that I caused that happiness
I love to look into your beautiful eyes
And I love the way I fall into them
I love it when you hold my hand
And I love having the courage to grab and hold yours
I love to tease and torment you
And I love it when you tease and torment me
I love it when you touch me
And I love to touch you
I love rediscovering how beautiful you are each time I see you
And I love realizing how attractive you make me feel
I love wanting so badly to kiss you
And I love the way you want to take things slow
I love the fact that you still want to be my friend
And I love that I want to be yours
I love so many things about you
But the most important thing is

YOU NEED TO JUST TAKE IT SLOW AND DONT RUSH
THE SITUATION. IF SHE WANT TO BE COME MORE THEN
FRIENDS. I BELEIVE SHE WILL LET YOU KNOW. FOR NOW
YOU NEED TO RESPECT HER DECISION. BUT IF YOU RELLY
CARE FOR HER. THEN LET HER KNOW THAT BUT BE
PATIENT SHE MAY NEED TIME TO GET OVER THE OTHER
RELATIONSHIP. DONT PRESSURE HER. JUST BE HER
FRIEND. THEN SEE HOW IT GO.
