God is love,and all who live in love, live in God, And God lives in them. And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect. We love each other because he loved us first. If someone says," I love God," but hates a Christian brother or sister, that person is a liar, for if we don`t love people we can see, how can we love God whom we cannot see? This is the kind of love that changes you. A love you will never understand unless you recieve it from Jesus. I can honestly say that I love everyone, even my enemies. Without God this would not be possible. Give your life to Christ, and his love will reveal itself to you, he will open your eyes to the truth. And I do love you, and care about you.

God had to teach me to love Him. I wanted to but didn't know how to muster it up. So I asked Him to help me. Now I don't go to sleep without that familliar swelling in my heart.
I want to love you too. Maybe God will work with me on that.

Love is a term used rather glibly these days. It makes the term cheap and meaningless.
But since you asked, The love and God concepts are stupid. First of all, if God was so loving, he could have arranged the world a LOT differently. For example, God could have said, "Cut the silliness guys and gals, I don't need animal or blood sacrifices. You get to heaven by treating each other with charity and respect and by protecting the weak and helping the helpless. If you do that, it's like you are treating me the same way and those are the folks I want to hang out with for an eternity." He could have said that, could have made that the rule. That concept requires no faith; it just makes sense. Simple.
The Jew, Christian, Muslim God is a nut case, irrational, illogical, vicious, jealous, greedy, selfish, and brutal: in other words, made in man's image.
Furthermore, who in hell had the idea that God needed to kill his own kid. That is really freaking sick. It is also unnecessary and I do not respect a god or man who does that.
What is really amusing is the fact that the Bible describes Satan, Lucifer in rather uncomplimentary terms but it never accuses the Devil of having committed any act that rises to the level of a felony and maybe not even a misdemeanor. Just impolite toward God, the loving God, the forgiving God, the god of WRATH, and HATRED, and everlasting delight in burning his children.
Sick, sick, sick. Someone should turn God in to a child protection agency.

You're a liar. Love and hate aren't words to just throw around like that. You don't know me and you damn sure don't love me. Just like I wouldn't go around saying I hate people I don't know. Unless I ever meet you I will never be able to say I hate you, but I can honestly say I dislike you.

I would ask you what love was to you, to try to understand your feelings for me. Only if you can define love for yourself can I truly believe that you love me, or anyone(thing) else for that matter.
