i thought to see if your refrig is cooling properly a thermometer should placed in diff. areas of fridge. around 38 coldest i think.

it is the freezer ,most modern day refrigerator freezers have temperatures close to -18degreeC [of course u can always change the temperature in ur freezer with the temperature control system provided]
