me and my girl have bin together for a while, we bin the best of things together but i got deployed to Iraq. im afraid that i might lose her she mean a lot to me. what do u girls have to say?

firstly, i am not a girl but i feel like giving you my opinion. if she really loves you and cares enough about you, then she will stay. but the thing is that women dont like to hang in the balance so i guess you really have to make this trip to iraq worth it which means you gotta come back alive and in one peice.
forgive the mindless rambling what i am trying to say is yeah you guys still have a chance. but ready for whatever may come. good luck

There is one fact that is proven : War is not nice.
If you are wondering if you and your gf will stay together, that most likely means that there is not much hope. I hope for your sake that she doesn't become a fickle b---- but don't hold your breathwhile you are in Iraq she is probably surrounded by many guys that tickle her fancy.

i think if she's any kind of girlfriend, she'll stick with you even if you get deployed. you're not dying! you'll still be able to send mail back and forth, or talk on the phone. she should be proud of you - i know if i had a bf going to iraq i would be really proud of him! it's a really noble thing you're doing!

Ok here we go....it will be hard on both of you but it can be done/ Think of all the military wives and husbands that stay together. If you love each other and are willing to accept that it is going to be hard on both of you it is highly possible, but it is ultimately up to the both of you to make it happen.

first it's hard for her and you. try to communicate alot!.. its long distance. if she truly loves you she will try her best and you will too. but im sure she has other needs too..like you being there physically to hold her when she need you etc... the best thing is to sit down and talk to see what you both want and what is best for you two.
