Call the new doctor and explain what happened. You cannot treat bone spurs at home.

There are surgical procedures to remove the spurs. You might inquire about surgery since you have been in treatment for over a year.

Waht is a bone spu's? Do you mean spur? If the new doctor does not help, then look for another doctor and in between bathe your foot in Epsom Salt warm bath (as hot as possible), rest your foot, buy special pads to put in your shoes, take some motrin or something like that. And mentally affirm that it is going away. Doctors do not know much. Shots that kill pain do not remove spurs. They should first really learn in really good schools which do not exist so much nowadays, and then they could say that they are doctors and allow themselves to help people, not the other way around which is to be a real donkey, pretend to help people and then not help them at all or even making their condition worse. They should be removed from the medical board, all of them at the least mistake, then they would study hard and be serious in their job!

Better shoes, try to walk too far, and lose weight. The single most important thing I did to help my feet was lose weight. I'm 5'3" with a medium frame and when I get over 145, my feet start to hurt. The heavier I get, the more they hurt. Not to say that was necessarily the reason they stopped, but seems to coincidental to me.

2 liter bottle with frozen water. Each day roll your feet for 5 minutes on alternating with 5 minutes off for 20 minutes no more.
Get some orthotics for your shoes.

You can not treat bone spurs @ home. Tell your doc you are still in pain.
