the logic of which you speak is the logic God mocks!
the same logic mocks those that are it's prey!
What turns away believers is :
#1. The false teachings and traditions of those that present themselves as God's followers.
#2. The false conclusions of those that do not realize that those from #1, are false teachers.

Logic is the framework of the world, therefore God made it.
En arche en ho logos, kai ho logos en pros ton theon, kai theos en ho logos,
"In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God" (John 1:1).
Note that "The word" is a translation of Logos a Greek word from which the word "logic" is derived and means something like understanding.
So in the begining was the word, or conceptual understanding. What does conceptual understanding depend upon? Logic

I am a very logical person, and I thought it was a stumbling block in my faith, but you know what's funny? Logic is just what God used to actually bring me closer to Him. If you follow logic through until it reaches the end of conclusion, you will find Him there waiting. There is no other logical explanation. Trust me, every answer that people think is rock solid, usually has a loop hole somewhere. God doesn't. He's solid, really solid.

Not according to the Gospel according to John. It begins, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God". The word for Word used in this instance was Logos in Greek and it means Reason.
Substitute the word "Reason" for the word "Word" above. It is the first cause of creation according to John, also personified as Jesus Christ.
My understanding of this is that God created the spirit of Christ as Reason. Aren't forgiveness, compassion and care for each other reasonable goals?
And believers don't turn away, unless they become unbelievers.

Logic is the highest form of reasoning that man is capable of. Scripture teaches, though, that God's thoughts are on a higher level than our thoughts. When God says something that may not appear logical to us that's when we have to realize our relationship to Him as Master and trust that He understands at a much higher plain than we are capable of understanding. That's where faith and trust in God come in. I can give you many cases in Scripture where my initial thought is "that just doesn't make sense to me". But all that matters is that it makes sense to God since He created the playing field and gets to make the rules. Many (probably most) of those who respond to this question will consider my answer the ravings of a total idiot. When we disagree with God and refuse to accept His will His thinking we are telling Him that we in fact are superior and above Him. We make ourselves God. Now that's scary.

True logic does not turn people away from God, just as true science doesn't. it is Satan who gets into the minds of people and convinces them that good is bad and bad good, and that right is wrong and wrong right, that turn people away from God. They would rather bow to Satan and go their selfish way than to change and do something other than what they think is their own will.

Believers? Depends in whom or what they are believing?
Clearly God likes logic. He gave us logical minds, if we don't abuse them ... and He says "Come, now, and reason together, saith the Lord .... though your sins be as scarlet, they will be as white as snow ..." If only people would use their minds for logical reasoning!!

Umm, no, because God doesn't hate.
And because logic doesn't turn away non-believers, a lack of faith does.

God loves stupid people. That's why he ensured only stupid people will get to heaven.
But, God, heaven & hell don't exist, so it appears it doesn't matter.
The primary problem with stupid people is that most of them are too stupid to realize they are stupid.
Based on all information currently available, atheism is the only logical choice.
