Why would you throw it away? It didn't do anything to you. I am not a Christian but I have read the bible and even studied it. I am currently studying it again. If you don't want to look at it then leave it in the drawer.

hmm. actually, most hotels I visit anymore, dont bother putting it in the room. it depends also from what perspective you are looking from... are you for the bible, wanting it to be in the trash so that bums may find it, and know the word of god? :P heh. I really dont understand the placing of a bible in a hotel room drawer in the first place, is it because it is usual for people who are down on there luck to stay at hotel rooms, maybe giving them hope? I would think those who stay at hotel rooms are feeling 'LUCKY" if ya know what I mean. maybe you should call a hotel or drop a note about your Idea on the placement of bibles in their suggestions box. ;)

Seems it would be more useful if the Bible were left ON the desk or bed-side table so that some of the trash using the hotel room might actually see it!!

once I holiday I take my nicely-worn Bible with me. even however, the Bibles left in lodge rooms are there for any who desire to envision it. you're no longer demanding approximately throwing the telephone books away are you? in case you do no longer choose to apply the yellow pages, you merely go away it the place it is. they have the numbers of many church homes people in misery can call for suggestions, prayer, and convenience. people who do no longer desire to apply the complimentary Bible can merely go away it in the drawer.
