I do , and I think we throw to much in the trash , which could be used , grocery bags are made out of the plastic, and it is Oil , which can newer be produced again, and lots of people are dyeing for that, and human being needs it for other purposes tow.
And it is not good for the inweirement to produce so much trash.
In some country's , you have to pay for this bags and people use it several times.

I don't use them as trash liners. I actually use them to put dirty diapers on before they are thrown away. I have three kids in diapers/training pants and the trash can get pretty smelly by the end of the day.

yes! I am all for recycling in any way possible, and if I don't use then that way, I reuse them in another. always remember to snip in the middle of the handle rings though, (as with any ringed-type of trash, animals may eventually become entangled, and especially if you have small children, cats or small dogs in the house. when you go to tie the bag later, its actually easier! I am actually thinking about investing in 10 reusable grocery 'totes' because that ends the paper, or plastic issue right there. less waste! :)

No, my trash can is bigger than the bags. I use them for other things like Thrift Store donation, and bags of books I am selling on eBay.
