Fundis, how long do you chase "non-believers" for? I just want an estimate of how long I have until my own personal bible thumper (I'm so honored!) quits in disgust. Like a week, month, year??

Gary, the name is shadowgirl not flowergirl. And I asked how long the bible thumper will be not if I am going to hell or not.

No one has a right to harass anyone. You have a perfect right to tell the person that...
a) You do not appreciate being bothered.
b) If he does not leave you alone you will take action with the county magistrate.
c) It does no harm to tell him you have a religious life with which you are satisfied. That discourages some of them because they feel threatened. What if you are already more religious than they are? It's okay to do this whether it is true or not. They also have no right to inquire as to the details of your personal religion.
If the threat of legal action does not stop the person, then follow through on the threat. If the person says, "The county magistrate doesn't scare me, because of my faith," that can be corrected. When the deputy sheriff serves a restraining order on him, he will be afraid.

It depends - do you ever hear that faint knocking at your heart? It's Jesus & He is trying to use this bible thumper to get you to open the door so He can come in. When the b/thumper goes away - Jesus won't - He will be there always, ready to answer when you call. If you wait..and you never end up calling on Him - then the devil himself has gotcha! sounds like he already does. he had me once too - thank you bible thumper of mine that I opened the door before it was too late! No regrets for me!

It depends on how much she loves you,
I pray for those in my life who aren't saved - that they would realize before it's too late that they need a savior.
If this person loves you, she will pray till the day one of you passes on that you come come to know Jesus as your Savior too.
He shed His precious blood on the cross for all of us. All we have to do is accept and follow Him....
Sorry you find this bothersome, I was not happy to hear sort of thing before I was saved. It really bugged me, but now I realize that it was the Holy Spirit Convicting me of my need for repentance.....

From personal experence, I'd give him maybe three days. He'll get frustrated and slink off to sulk soon enough.

Nobody is forcing you to go to heaven...its YOUR choice if you choose hell...''go right ahead...just remember the consequences...
Jesus already did what he could do...if you choose to go to hell don't blame Him...or the Christians.
So have at it.....see if we care. We know were we are going; it is no sweat off our back if you are stupid enough to reject Christ...its your dumb choice.
