For starters you absolutely should NOT DO EXTENSIONS OR BRAIDS!! A relaxer is a chemical that weakens the hair just like any other chemical processing. To add the weight of extra hair to hair that is already damaged and weak will pull your hair out at the roots; it is called traction alopecia and this hair loss is most times permanent. Traction alopecia happens to those who wear braids and extensions for a long time, even without having a relaxer. What you will need to do is cut your hair as short as you can tolerate, use a gentle shampoo and a good conditioner. You will have to continue to have it cut until the relaxer is gone. I have worn a relaxer with no probs for 20 years.

â¥â«â¦âª Here is the lesson we will not try to be a follower but we will be a leader. Now that your hair is messed up here is what you can do. Stay away from heat, perms, and dyes for a whole year and try to get one or your friends to put some cornrows in your hair. Get the 3 for 5 packs of hair not the 99 cent one and then keep it braided then when the perm grows out go to the beauty palor and explain what had happened and ask them if it would be OK to get a cut and a curly perm. The reason I am saying this is because you are not suppose to mix them together, and that is why I am telling you to ask them and see what they recommend. I hope that I have helped you. with your hair crisis.â¥â«â¦âª

Relaxers are permanent just like permanent dyes. If you want to go back to your natural hair you have two choices. One, Gradually grow out hair and cut out relaxer a little at a time. Two, Cut your hair really short and start fresh.
Also, when you do grow out your hair. Your new growth is not a true representation of your natural hair. It takes a while for your true natural hair state to grow in.
And, flat ironing/heat straightening over a long period of time alters the texture of your hair as well.

Give your hair a REST.
Use a good conditioner, like a cholesterol or hot oil treatment, for 3 or 4 months to help it recover. It will be curly again.
Extensions pull your hair out by the roots, in clumps. Ugh!

Girl, I'm a white gay male and according to your pic we are on two opposite world, but let me tell you...
my sister dyed her hair black by accident perm. She paid alot of money to have it 'stripped' and it looked bad. Even though it was the right color it was so 'fried'.
Deal with it or cut your hair short, or cut it short then get extensions.
Don't 'strip' it. It will RUIN it. If it does that to white hair, it will cause black hair even MORE trouble!

You can braid your hair, or just keep it in ponytails to let it grow out. You can also cut SOME of your hair to let it grow, but once you lose it, it doesn't come back the same way.
