Are Police Officers more likely to cheat on there Girlfriend/Wife?

Question

Being that I have been talking to a police officer that works in MI, I wanted to know being they are around and most likley have women coming on to them for time to time are they more likly to cheat then men in a different work feiled, also if you are a police officer have you thought about and or even done it? I don't they are any more likely to cheat than anyone else. They are men/women just like anyone else. The only difference is the uniform, they have more power than the regular person who doesn't have that uniform.

Many of the problems you may be facing could be just the tip of the iceberg on what is really happening in your marriage. I dont mean to scare you but many problems when they either first show up or if they keep reoccurring could be just whats showing from a larger problem that either you or your spouse cannot even see. One of the only things you can do to help is to talk honestly and openly with each other in the marriage. If things become more serious more serious options need to be looked at as possibilities. Love is a choice that is made everyday when you wake up and every night when you go to sleep. Some days you may not feel the original feeling but love isnt a feeling or an emotion. Its an action a verb. Falling out of love may just mean you need to spice things up a little or that you were never in love in the first place. Don't just get out of a marriage just because you don't think you like the person anymore.

My cousin's best friend married a police officer and had 3 kids together.

The family moved out west where the husband found a job as a County police officer.

The wife caught her husband having an affair with another female police officer who worked with him in the same precient. After failing to reconcile, the wife moved back east with her children and filed for divorce.

My hunch is that the policeman tired of being a family man and perhaps the stress of the job drove him into another woman's arms - especially if both of them were working together on a case. There are no excuses but a family has been torn to shreds.

I never have. But, it's not from lack of opportunity. Some women, for whatever reason seem to be drawn to cops. I don't know if it's the uniform, the authority or what, but I have had more than one woman throw herself at me, and I get the distinct feeling that if I weren't in uniform, I'd just be another face in the crowd. Maybe some of the ladies here can comment on the why. I know lot's of guys who don't resist the temptation to stray. The group of folks I socialize with are all cops and firefighters (my wife is a FF / medic), and lot's of the boys stray.

I work fr the county sheriffs office. Some of the deputies I work with cheat. Some don't. I woked in a factory for 11 years. Some of the men I worked with cheated. Some didn't. I don't think it really has anything to do with the job. It is all about the man/woman.

Working the odd hours they do does take a toll on a relationship.

For some reason women are fascinated with cops just like they are with guitarists.

Problem is once they get involved with the person they see that they can't spend every waking moment with them and they leave/cheat or atleast have a bad relationship.

In summary: Police Officers do have a high rate of divorce, but its not because they are cheaters, its because of the time comitment to their profession and that leads to problems.

YES - they do - and if they haven't - they will.

Its the uniform, the opportunity, the hours they work, for all you know they can be telling you they are doing surveillance and then they are out with someone else. I have seen countless women throw themselves at these men -- try to get out of tickets by flirting -- there is ALOT of opportunity. Stress is also a very high factor -divorce rate for cops is off the charts --

I would say definetly!!!! I know of alot of officers that have problems keeping their pants on.

My ex-boyfriend was a police officer and he told me about all the affairs the officers had, I would definetly say over half of them cheat and they are great liars, don't trust a cop.

Not only do they cheat, but alot of them are very abusive. The guy I dated was also a body builder so as you can imagine he was very strong. He would push me up against the wall, mentally abuse me and he went as far as to abuse my childeren mentally and physically spank them because he thought he had the right

If I was you I'd run as fast as I could from that cop, I doubt he's any different from any of the others.

it not the job uniform or authority simply no morals and no self personal discipline or respect for family yet when the chips are down who does he go to the poor wife that's been cheated on, from personal experience piloting for state sometime back it was recurring past time with many of the uniformed troopers shameful it was all about sex and never meaning anything and squad room talk don't pull your pants down run fast as if your *** was on fire
