No one can string anyone along unless the power is given to them to do it. In other words you're allowing it for one reason or another. Remember saying no is one of the choices you have in life.

That is all that they want for along time. even if they settle down they will still want that. When they get older they grow out of it. Guys were born with this fasanation and it does not go away until they start to lose their hair get pot bellies and have wrinkles in places they never knew they had. Then they are happy with sex from the one person who puts up with them because now noone else will have them.

well going on only your question and no specifics, it sounds like the basic response would be something like this... (1) he's insecure( most likely) (2) have you ever heard the term while your waiting for miss right theres nothing wrong with dating miss right now. guys are always afraid something better will come along and they'll be stuck.either way dont fret.... in the end he'll still be waiting and you'll be living...your life w/some new hottie.

Same reason girls do they like to have the option and the attention. Mean but true both do it so they aren't alone but they can move on if something "Better" comes along.

Mainly because they love to think of themselves as "players". I think it just because they are shallow, self centered and dont really care how they treat women as long as they get what they want, which is what all of us know is sex.

because they're chauvanistic males, and think they can. no. not can. should. it just goes to show the degree to which males are really inferior to females. its a crutch that they have to live with, and just cant face.
