I have this friend and we are really close, I've wanted for a long time to move on in our relationship but I KNOW she doesn't so I have never tried. Would it be wrong to tell her that she looks incredible or anything like that? In any given situation?

I am a girl, and if I were you I would just play it cool. Surprisingly girls like the chase just as much as men. I wouldn't say out of no where "you look stunning", rather If she doesn't already ask you how you think she looks, entice her to. You could say where you going? Is that a new outfit? etc. Then when she asks how do you like it or hopefully something to that effect...you can say yeah it looks okay, or all right, or nice. Do not use over powering words like beautiful, or stunning. I say this because although she would love to hear that, it sounds to me like that is what she expects to hear. By you throwing her the curve ball, it has been my experience that most girls including myself would start fishing for more. Or at the very least, the wheels of our mind would be turning.

No, but do not make it awkward. Maybe on special days or if you guys are out doing something with your other friends like having a nice group dinner.

I doubt it. I think that she would be glad that you recognized her and all the work she put into her fashion sense. She would even think of you as an even cooler person because of it because you know what to say.

i think it would be sweet, even if it is coming from a friend, as long as it's not overdone. tell her once and make it count. watch her reaction, and go from there. good luck and i wish you the best!

yeah mabye she doesnt look at her self as sexy/beautiful/attractive etc. and nothing you can do will make her change her mind. dont tell her too much but occasionally remind her that you think shes hot.. and spoil her. she might finally accept that you think she is. and i believe she will love you for it..
