I like this girl, but she can't go out with me because her dad won't let her date guys until she is in the 10th grade. We are currently in the 9th grade. I really like her, but a year without a girlfriend is a long time. Believe me. I know from experience. Should I wait an entire year, or go out with other girls and see what the future holds?

If you really like her, just wait. If during this year, you get too sick of waiting then you really don't like her so much as you tihnk now. One year is not long to wait for the one you love.
In the meantime, just let her know you like her and are there for her if she wants to talk. Write her romantic notes. Look dude, this can actually be a sweet opportunity for you. This is a time when you can show her that you are there for the long term not just for sex. Also, maybe you should get in good with the dad somehow. Just show a lot of maturity and respect for there rules, the girl, and yourself.

Go out and date other girls. If you have any stupid ideas going behind her fathers back because you have some heroic "Love is stronger than anything else" bullsh*t, don't be surprised to get a well-deserved *sswhippin'.
And believe me, I have a daughter. If that was to happen to me, I'd kick her *ss and beat you down like a convict. And that's not out of being mean, it's out of FEAR. I want NOTHING to happen to my baby (that's right dude, MY BABY).
You have NO CHOICE but to respect her fathers decision. That is his child, NOT YOURS. The girl's father has a responsibility to and for her and it's a situation that shouldn't be complicated by your feeling for her. And to make the point even further, if the girl has to make a decision between you and your father, YOUR GOING TO LOSE.
Don't be a dope. If you choose to, remain friends with her till the time comes to be with her (at the very least, you should be friends with her). If not and you need to "soar your wild oats", find someone else to do that with.
Besides, your too young to be serious. You should date and get REAL experience in manners of relationships. That means YOU DATE.
Trust me, you'll be better off (and her father won't go to jail).

well if you go out with other girls she might loose he feelings for you and trust me I'm a girl i know how these things work and sometimes if you wait shell sneak and go out with you anyway if not oh well just hang out with her as you would as girlfriend and boyfriend but just don't call it that just call it best Friends maybe more and flirt allot you'll be hanging out as much as bf and gf but maybe not kissing at firs soon it will fall into place if its meant to be and destiny will bring you together. But for now be patient oh and you said that her dad wont let her date yet if he doesn't like her around guys then just go tho the movies or a Friends house were ever with a group of people then move away from the crowd but stay with them i meant move away by going in a diff room and talking or something maybe even a kitchen.

well you don't have to put your life on hold. if you really like this girl as much as you say you do, then don't get another girlfriend, but that dont' mean you have to put your life on hold either. ya it's a long time to wait but you don't have to be official to have fun and spend time together. so her dad don't want her dating right now. so don't, but does that stop you from hanging out? does that stop you from talking to one another over the phone or whatever? it's kind of like friends with benefits. you don't have to actually be dating to make it seem like your dating? you know what i mean? good luck. i hope things work out for you both.

wait a year if you like her. if you wait a year and then become her boyfriend then her dad will like that you waited. talk to her in school eat with her at lunch(if you can) talk to her inbetween classes. ubtill then just wait! good luck!
