I have a really sour stomach with indigestion. I know Pepto helps diarrhea, and I'm afraid if I take Pepto I won't be able to poop. Does Pepto cause constipation?

No it shouldn't, Pepto Bismol is good for the symptoms you are having. But I would try Maalox, or tums first if you have them. If not go ahead and take the Pepto.

No, Pepto will not cause constipation. All Pepto does is coat the lining of your stomach and ease the indegestion. If you are still concerned with Pepto, you can also try Maalox or Tums. Maalox works really well. I hope you feel better :-).

I wouldn't take Pepto if I took a laxative. If it continues into tomorrow you could call the dr. office and see it they think you should go in. On the other hand, maybe the laxative isn't thru with you. There may be more to be cleaned out. Maybe if you curled up on your side, it would ease up.

instead of meds why not go with natural stuff. Add fiber in your diet, more fluids, bananas, jackfruit, pineapple.
