Contact the police department where it happened. It has to be the police in the city where it happened at, because they are the only ones who can do anything about it. Even if neither of you lives there anymore, it's still up to them.
Ask to speak to a juvenile detective or juvenile investigator. They know more about the exact requirements for statutory rape charges in that particular city. Explain to them what happened, and be as detailed as possible. Then explain to them the reasons why you waited this long and why you chose to report it now.
Many places do not have a statute of limitations for sex crimes against juveniles. Even if the statute of limitations has passed for where it happened, you reporting it can give the police reason to open an investigation on him. That would give them reason to investigate to see if there is anything going on with the girls he is around now. Report it as soon as possible. Without a complaint, the police can't do anything.

See if there is a statute of limitations in your state for that crime. If not, report it to the police, sheriff, etc which has jurisdicition in the area the crime occured. Even if there is, you would still have your experience on the record - there may be other victims who come forward after you.
You could also see if there is a victim's assistance program with that law enforcement entity which might make you more comfortable reporting it.
Best wishes too you. Even if we get good at living today in the here and now, these things never quite go away. You're strong for in essence going through it all again to protect future victims!

I think they changed the Federal laws and there is no statute of limitations anymore. Contact the police department first and move up the ladder. If you find that the police don't want to cooperate for what ever reason, then I'm sure the local news paper would have a field day with that when you explain why your doing this after so many years. You can remain anonymous with the news paper at least at first. This will put pressure on the district attorney if he or she does not want to pursue it. Good Luck.

Unfortunately, you should have done this sooner because the statute of limitations for statutory rape has most likely passed and there is nothing you may be able to do about it now. Usually the statute of limitations for statutory rape is only 2-3 years. Good luck!

I don't live in your country but I would think the law would run in much the same way. You may not be able to convict this man in your country but in ours if you have the proof you most definitely can. If that is not possible then why can't you let it be known to some one what he did to you and have him investigated and hopefully this may stop what he most likely has been doing since he last abused you.
I take my hat off to you and wish you luck because I know a lot of uneducated men would blame you for this and not think anything of it. You keep trying and I hope that you have some success. What ever happens stand your ground.

You should get yourself an attorney (Stan Chelsey comes to mind) He has really shaken up the Catholic Church in Northern KY and Greater Cincinnati. You may be too late to do anything because there is a statute of limitations.

I would suggest contacting a law firm and making an appointment with an attorney to see what can be done. Preferably a law firm that offers free consultations.

You already waited 11 years... Why not wait LONGER until he's up for some important job or maybe a political function. Then you can trot it out into the media and have a circus! If you had opened you mouth to say something back THEN, you wouldn't be having this sudden issue of not wanting him around these other girls. You should have stood up and been the adult you THOUGHT you were when you were 15. Why all of a sudden do you need to do something? You didn't for the last decade..............................

Try contacting the District Attorney's office for the county where he seduced you. Someone there should be able to advise you.
