Here, on answers, those words are applicable. In real life, we're all just people trying to get along.
This place is more polarized than partisan politics due in large part to pious christians shi**ing on atheists (ignorantly I might add) at every chance they get.
I blame it more on christians than atheists (though to be sure, some shi* on christians, too) because their general ignorance of what atheism is. Atheists in large part understand the christian religion and just reject it and all others. On the other hand, christians don't seem to have a clue as to what atheism is, yet they want to tell us why their way is better.

Actually I don't see them that way, at least not all of them. I mean there are a few like that but not many. I see Christians as people who just don't believe as I do. They are people with the same feelings I have. They are people with the same emotions I have. It isn't like they are some alien subjects or something. I consider them my friends and I hope they would consider me the same. I have no problem with real Christians at all. I even like to sit and talk religion with them. I don't consider them evil just because they believe something different than I do.

i do no longer think of human beings of distinctive religions hate Christians from now on than Christians hate, say, Muslims. this is all from the lack of ability of expertise on the subject of the religion, and from concern of a few thing human beings don't understand. i grew to become into baptized to be an Orthodox (Russian) Christian, yet on the instant i could say i'm an atheist. the only difficulty I actual have with Christianity (or the different faith, for that remember) is that its followers attempt and meddle in human beings's affairs too plenty. If human beings strongly have self assurance in some thing, they sense themselves justified in judging human beings and attempting to impose their own techniques as extra suitable to something. that's what irks maximum people who supposedly "hate" Christians. There are few people who particularly hate Christians or Muslims or despite, maximum folk basically choose "to comply with disagree" and be left on my own to their own company.

There are some that are that way. But the ones I hang with tend to be soft spoken and a tad more thoughtful. But then again they enjoy exchanging ideas and learning from other people.

If I were forced to stereotype, I would say that many of them seem afraid to learn about new things. Fear of the unknown seems to be a recurring theme, particularly fear of hell.

I believe some Christians are that way, yes. But I know many of them that are not. I would also add HOMOPHOBIC to that list.

I'd add paranoid to the list. All the fear of conspiracies and stuff seems paranoid to me.

yes
However, it is not their intention. I think their intention is to be helpful. It's just very bad delivery of a well intended message.
