They're doing that now in all the major markets. I live in Pittsburgh, and I've had it since April.

There is a catch though, your old HD receiver and dish will have to upgraded. The local HD channels are being distributed from a new pair of antennas, so you need a Phase III dish. Also, the new channels use MP4 compression, rather than MP2, so that's why you need the new receiver.

They will lease the new receiver though, so you don't have to shell out hundreds of dollars all at once.

they do on some channels, not all.
