Listen man, girls try this stuff all of the time. They try to break up friendships between guys. It's a trick that they like to do to see if you will give up your best friend for her.
If she likes both of you then don't waste your time.
There is a saying: "Pals before pussy" and if you are a good friend then forget the girl. She will what for one of you to ask her out and then make sure the other guy finds out just so you will fight. It's stupid stuff immature girls do. Don't fall for it. Find a girl that doesn't know your friend.

if u truly like her, ask her out, but just tell ur friend to let him kno so he won't be too mad at you, but maybe u could see if the girl has a friend that would be right for you guy friend!! good luck

well tell him ur gonna ask her out, then whether its ok w/ him or not, act quickly and like a leapard, ask her out. if she says no he prrly wont try, and he'll make fun of you.
