Been there, done that. Actually, I put them under windshield wipers. I'm so sorry, people.

I'm a Christian and I love the Lord with all my heart. Unfortunately some, not all Christians believe that it's their God given assignment is to scare and threaten others to believe as they do. I apologize for their behavior. The God I serve is cool, awesome, patient, gentle, kind, understanding and loving. He never called us to be controlling, mean-spirited and opinionated. I don't recall anywhere in the Bible where God forced His beliefs on ANYONE!!! For me, I must first consider my shortcomings (Which are many), before I can cast judgment on anyone. Sometimes I think Christians forget that they too were sinners. I was probably one of the worse. Some/most days, I still mess up. (Please forgive me?? I'll try to do better tomorrow). The Bible says that, "Our righteousness is like that of a filthy rag". If you do the exergious, (research), you'll find that back in the days of early Christianity and/or before, women had to literally wear a rag during the time of their menstruation. That's pretty nasty to me!!The illustration alone is enough to cause me to re-think some things. Besides the fact that It's gross, it lets me know that I'm not as wonderful as I sometimes think I am. Each day I live by God's Grace and Mercy. Thank God I have His help and guidence to make it through each day. If it wasn't for His love and forgivness, I'd screw up everything! God is so much more then we could ever imagine. I often wonder why some people minimize His love to to fit their own feeble way of understanding?? At this point I know I've probably pissed some people off, (Oop's), but I think somewhere in the Bible that we beat people over the head with, it says, "He who is without sin, cast the first stone"!!! I know I'm a trouble maker, but O well, God knew that when He created me. Next time you run into one of those holier then thou Christians, make sure you tell them that God loves and died for you too!! Tell em I said so!!! Guess what? God also has a sense of humor. I guess He has to in order to put up with me!! See Ya!! GOD BLESS YOU!!!

It's probably not a religious group, but one mentally disturbed person who's doing it on his/her own. One of my friends had this problem once. A crazy guy who lived on her block would leave handwritten notes in her mailbox all the time that were a mix of bible quotes and conspiracy theories. None of it made any sense.

It's probably just a group of people in your community, possibly belonging to a cult of some kind.
