Not my field so I don't know what's already been done, but there's something I'm curious about. Athletes seem to heal and recuperate from some very serious injuries much faster than people who aren't professional athletes. I wonder how much extreme physical exercise versus mild physical therapy might have to do with that. I've heard trainers have discovered agressive rehab with almost no waiting period from the time of injury is more effective.
I believe masters and PhD theses should advance the knowledge of a field of study, rather than reproduce something already known. But maybe there are aspects of the above concepts which are as yet poorly understood. Hope this at least inspires you to exlore it some, I am interested in knowing more about it myself.
