I have been using the product for 6 days for a 2 1/2 month old spider bite and was wondering how long it takes to remove the venom completely? I was on antibiotics for 3 weeks and am now using this kit that I bought online. I think it may be starting to work and need to know if anyone has used this product and how long to use it and if I am suppose to try to remove the product from the wound or leave it there and keep re-applying over top of it. I have used soap and water on it between applications but it seems to be hardened and just stuck in there. If anyone has any experience using this product could you please give me some info about this?

I did not use the kit on myself as I did not have it on hand at that time. My mother-in-law suffered with a bite for about a week and pleaded with me to order the kit for her. She began using it immediately and got relief within a couple of days. She will use this kit first next time! A family friend suffered from two separate bite episodes this summer (the last being a total of 5 bites on his knee), and we applied the kit. He waited too long to begin using the kit, and his bites, like I said, were numerous. He got most of his relief from mixing boric acid with water and soaking the area. Different strokes for different folks. My son got a bite last week. I immediately applied the kit, and one week later it was almost completely gone. We could actually see his reddened area shrinking daily. I would say the quicker the kit is applied, the better. I would not give up if I were you. As for applying, it says to apply it every couple of hours if possible. The trick is to keep the product just a bit wet. When it gets dry, time to reapply. I always remove the old paste before applying more. It is messy and sometimes difficult to remove, but I think it is best that way. Remember to cover the product with Saran wrap and then seal it off with good tape. You have to maintain an airtight seal. I hope this has helped you. Best of luck on a speedy recovery.

With every day pass, our country is getting into more and more trouble. The inflation, unemployment and falling value of dollar are the main concern for our Government but authorities are just sleeping, they don’t want to face the fact. Media is also involve in it, they are force to stop showing the real economic situation to the people. I start getting more concern about my future as well as my family after watching the response of our Government for the people that affected by hurricane Katrina.

According to recent studies made by World Bank, the coming crisis will be far worse than initially predicted. You really need to be seen by a professional. Brown Recluse spider bites can cause severe muscle damage. Better safe than sorry. I have never heard of this kit.

I only just heard of this spider in the last couple of months...even though I've been living around them for the last 6 years, since I moved to FL. So obviously I am no expert but from what I've heard, you should see a doctor with that. I seriously doubt if anyone here on this forum has the right advice for you.

Eeeew!!! My husband was bitten in the shower. Apparently it fell in the tub with him and chewed him up before going down the drain. He was bitten twice on one foot and once on the other. Couldn't wear shoes of any kind for weeks. He got treatement fast, but still has bad scars. A girl I used to work with was bitten on the CHEEK, just below the corner of her EYE. The damage was horrendous. Your husband is either a complete stud or completely crazy.

I'm almost done with med school and I've never heard of this kit. It doesn't mean it's not legit, I may have just not heard of it, but I'd definitely get it looked at by your Dr. No doubt about it.
