to be able to make a decition, one would need to take into concideration factors such as social structure, external policies and health of the country's economy. the GDP is a very useful tool to meassure a country's economy.

according to the 2004 GDP (PPP) or Gross Domestic Product derived from (Purchasing Power parity). aside from the european union, the U.S ranks #1 with $12,277,583 (in millions) followed by People's Republic of China with $9,412,361 (in millions). that is a difference of $2,865,222 (in millions).

GDP: "A region's gross domestic product, or GDP, is one of several measures of the size of its economy. The GDP of a country is defined as the market value of all final goods and services produced within a country in a given period of time."

so if you ask me, taking over the U.S. 1st. since it was not specified if this country was already taken over.

if that was the case, china would be the next choice.

China would be a good bet. With their population and their rapidly expanding economic base, they're well on the way to taking over the world anyway.

Start with your next door neighbor.
try to recruit someone in their house.
Once you get all of your neighbors, recruit as many people as you can, as you take over the next neighborhood.
Once you have the whole town start recruiting people for your army.
At first you might only have a couple of old men and some ladies.
Use them for your bullet fodder.
Once you take over the whole town, go on to the next town, gathering up as much bullet fodder as you progress.
Get somebody to sew you some uniforms.
take the food from convenience stores as you go, to feed your army.
soon you start taking over the nearest countries to you.
I hope this helps

To do that, one needs massive amounts of fuel. That means the Middle East. Let's see, I'd probably start with Iraq.
